Tioman Trip with Family Day 3

Third day at Tioman! So irritating, the day we leave, the sun shine so brightly. TSK!

Last look at the pretty island with lots of corals and fishes.

Yaps, that's the end of our short 3 days trip to Tioman. Although the sun didn't like me and didn't really showed up, but I enjoyed the snorkelling trip and steamboat. Wee!

Tioman Trip with Family Day 2

Day 2 of Tioman trip, we were suppose to do all our activities today. But the weather was evil! It was raining and cloudy the whole day so we couldn't really do much. But we were really lucky that they let us snorkel when we went to the Sea Sports Center the second time to check if we can do it. Weee! I will totally regret if I didn't get to snorkel during this trip. But I'm super upset because there wasn't any sun so I couldn't get tan while doing the activities neither could I go tanning. TSK!

Free buffet breakfast. Food tasted all right only. I would say limited choices, we had almost the same thing for 2 days. The bread and butter pudding was super delicious! Beef bacon, chickn sausages, hashbrown.

The legend of Tioman.

This is damn cool! It's a resort high above the mountains facing the sea. It has it's own cable car up! We heard them saying only VIP stays there. And it's not cheap at all! Haha.

While walking across the bridge, it was drizzling and the wind was so strong. Cold!

Since we couldn't do snorkeling because of the rain and wind and current, we resorted to kayaking. My bloody irritating sister, only know how to sit in front and slack while I had to do all the paddling. Damn tiring lah the waves were huge, current was strong. However, I came out my arms weren't hurting it was my legs. haha. But great work out. Ohh, the wave was so big that the kayak bang my leg while I was dismounting my kayak when I got onto the shore. Like ouchhh!!! One big bruise now.

We went to have lunch before we went back to check if we could snorkel. And yes we can!!! All geared up! =D

Since we had the free snorkeling package, we took the glass boat package. It's just a normal boat with a glass bottom so you can see what's below you! Cool! When we reach the coral area, we were like all in awed cos it was just so pretty!!! Never in my life I get to see such so much coral and fishes up close! It's amazing!

Once you put the bread near the water, the fishes start coming to up to the surface.

And you see them fighting for the bread. LOL.

Down snorkeling. It was a really really really good experience. Too bad we couldn't go to more places cos of the bad weather and current. I wanna go snorkel again!

In the water, look at all the fishes! They are all just centimeters away from me. I suspect some fishes bite part of my toenail and when I felt the pain, I quickly pull my feet away so I had a half broken toenail. =(

Took this from far, it was actually quite big. Bigger than the normal fishes I saw.

Sea urchins and ikan billis. That was what our captain told us. Haha. He even took a sea urchin up for us to see. He was really cool, he brought me to see lots of amazing stuff. I even saw a turtle but I didn't managed to take a picture of it. Too engrossed already! Our captain even went down to help us take pictures! Amazing!

More corals.

They call this the brain coral cos it looks like our human brains.

On the way back after our snorkeling trip with the beautiful island where all the beautiful fishes and corals are. I wanna go snorkel again! With better weather and sea conditions please!

Headed back to bathe before going out for dinner.

My sister saw this on the shore and she screamed. And everyone else on the beach turned and stared at her. I was there laughing my head off. She thought it was a skull! LOL!!!!

I don't know who did this, they gathered lots of dead coral and rocks.

They really have lots of unknown water source flowing from the shore to the sea.

Complimentary BBQ buffet. Crab, lamb chop, corn, kebab, brocoli.

Hot mushroom soup.

Satay, sausages, sotong, muscles, ham.

Crab claws, chicken.

Peanut butter cake, mango pudding and some grape pudding.

ICE CREAM! The food wasn't really nice. I still prefer the steamboat like a zillion times more!

Oh, they go table to table to sing and perform. They sang "Top of the world" for us. Haha.

Tioman Trip with Family Day 1

Finally, a getaway from Singapore! This time to Tioman with my family. We initially wanted to head to Taiwan but no more cheap tickets, wanted Rendang, but the hotels were full, so there, Tioman.

Post is going to be very picture heavy.

Our plane, Berjaya Air was at Seltar Airport, we reached there too early and there was a delay with the plane so we were stuck there for almost half the day with no food and water. =(

Bored, bored. I should have brought my book along. My sister stole my pork when she had a psp. Tsk.

Finally, we're taking off!

While we were about to land at Tioman, the sight below is just pretty!

The transport provided from the airport to Berjaya Hotel. The caged up luggage and the 'bus' without any railings or cover at the side.

While on the way to the hotel, we spotted this, I guess this should be where you take the water taxis around the island.

The only 'shopping place' we spotted. We didn't visit it though.

We then headed out to explore the place.

While me and my dad were busy snapping around, my mum and sister went to play with water. The water's really clear but the sand wasn't those fine fine sand. =(

The little steam, I took a picture of the other end of the steam earlier. That mysterious feel picture. Yea. And I really love this place. The whole area was really really hot, but once you step on this little stream, the water's really really cool. It's so nice that I didn't wanna leave there.

From the big sea to small little stream. I don't know how and why the water flows in this way cos on the left and right hand side of the picture, it's actually one big patch of shore. Nature works are just amazing.

I should have taken more sunset pictures and not be a pig and dig into my food so early. But I was really hungry maaa.

We had complimentary dinner. We chose steamboat for today! =D The ultra huge plate of vegetables, noodles, tofu, mushroom and egg.

This serving is actually for 4, it's ultra huge plate and we actually couldn't finish it.

The ultra huge plate of seafood and meat. OMG! It was awesome! Crab, lobster, fish, sotong, cuttlefish, beef, chicken, crabstick, prawns, muscles.

Just by looking at the photos make me drool. The food's really fresh, serving was huge, food was tasty. All for free! Woah! I feel like eating again. Haha.

Bf and I decided to head down to Kichn at Albert Court Hotel for a try after seeing a number of good reviews and tweets. :) I've been wanting to head there for quite awhile, finally here's the chance! Wee!
The place was really nice, it's like a little spot away from the bustling city. I love the way they design their stuff, simplistic is the key. Just black words. A great place for chilling with friends although there's only a couple of tables there.

Their food is awesome too! Love how you mix and match the combination and the way your order your meals. Simply love this place. Definitely coming back here for more!

Food's here! His double blend of Mango and Peach. Very tropical tasting.

My AWESOME triple blend of Lychee, Coffee and Oreo. Perfectly blended! A perfect mix of each flavour. AWWW! I want more of it!

His Fusilli with Cream Sauce and Grilled Dory.

According to the boy, the cream sauce was nicer than those his mum cooks! He seldom gives such good reviews about cream sauce that he eats outside. He mentioned that the fish is fresh and nice too. Woah!

My spaghetti with chili crab sauce and chicken, ham and cheese roll. You must be wondering, chili crab sauce with spaghetti? I tell you, it's totally awesome!!! It's the nicest sauce ever!!!

Their Chicken, Ham and cheese roll, something to die for! Look at the flowing cheese. OMG! Heavenly! The chicken's really tender as well. Nicely and evenly breaded too. OMG OMG! Just looking at the photo makes me drool!

Yaps. I'm totally crazy over Kichn now. Haha! Wanna head back soon!

We celebrated the twin's belated birthday by giving them homemade birthday cards and very practical and useful presents! =)

Great dinner at Changing Appetite and a great catch up session. Chilling at Esplanade and just talking was awesome. More more more! =)

SCE's Post Exams Celebration!

Finally, we're done with exams! Done with CSC279! Bye bye CIDP! Muahaha!

Time for a celebration! :) This time we had a BBQ session at Eugene's place. There were like too much food, but it was fun though tiring. But all thanks to Eugene for sponsoring the place and preparing the food! Thanks!

I didn't get to play much with the dogs though. :(

Baking time! :D

Me dearest daughters decided to came over today to do some baking! Like finally! We've been saying this since the last semester!

Somehow, it was a very very lazy day for all of us. We kept pushing jobs to each other because we wanted to rest or simply just lazy to do. At one point of time, the both of them went to my room and slept on the floor. The results of summer holidays. It just makes us lazy. Haha.

After the baking, we met Chong Kiat and Aldis for dinner at Northpoint's MenIchi. Ramen there's average, I still prefer the one at Clarke Quay and I wanna go back there for more Ramen!!!

My Kyofu Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen. Soup base is all right. I was quite surprised at the char siew though, didn't expected it to be good.

The other three Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen. They felt totally cheated cos it's just chill sauce splattered on top of normal soup base!

Claimed the free item from the card. Egg Omelette. I kinda like it cos the egg's wet and flavourful.

Claimed the other free item, Braised Pork Belly. It was stewed till very soft and the meat has absorbed all the taste in. But the amount of fats on it kinda turn me off. =/

We presented the sad boy with his belated birthday 'cake'. Cheer up!! :) We bluffed him that we spend the whole afternoon just baking for him. LOL.

We met up with Eugene then headed over to Chomp Pang for some beancurd at beancurd city. I still prefer Rochor's one!! The beancurd at beancurd city has very sweet syrup but the beancurd itself is tasteless unlike Rochor's. I'm craving for Rochor's beancurd now!!!

The you tiao was quite good. Maybe cos it was burning hot. And I feel so sad. I wanted to share the you tiao with someone. But both Eugene and Chong Kiat rejected me. =( In the end, I had to force my dearest bf to share with me. Yay! =D Gotta try ma, if not won't know nice a not then I can't blog about it.

I was saying we baked so here's our products! The smaller cups are oreo cheesecakes which I totally loved! We ran out of oreo bits so we had to use Coco powder. Lol.

These are tiramisu! This batch of Tiramisu taste yummier than the other batch I made during Christmas. Nom nom nom!

Mother's Day Celebration

Things can never go wrong when you dine at Swensen's. Haha. We decided to have Swensen's for light lunch and some ice cream so that we can have a awesome filling dinner later.

Retarded sister. Again.

We later walked around and did some shopping. We decided to head to my hall to pack my stuff and transport it back.

We looked totally funny when there's a Stitch sitting in the car with bolster and pillows. I don't think people can see both me and my sister at the back. We were piled up with stuff.

We wanted to go to Farmart for dinner but they were full and they actually stopped taking in customers! So we decided to go to this seafood place at Mandai.

The place totally looked like Malaysia, but it seems like the Head Chef is very well-known. From what my sister said, the chef appeared on tv before.

Anyway, they only had set meals for the day, so we took that set. OMG! We waited for like super super long before our food came. I was too hungry to take any photos so we just whacked only. =x

Lobster porridge was super yummy. Each of us had 1 lobster each. The porridge tasted really really sweet and tasty. Then we had fried baby sotong with thai sauce. Yummy too! Then their chicken drumlets where they cut the meat off from the bone and fried it. It tasted really nice and it was very easy to eat too cos the meat has been removed. Mixed vegetables were served as well. Then there was steam catfish, Hong Kong style. Hmm. Personally, didn't like the fish cos it tasted a little muddy. Prefer grouper or snapper. Herbal jelly was served as desserts.

Yaps. So that was dinner, we went home with an extremely full stomach and we had lots of problem shifting all my stuff back up. My room is like a rubbish dump now. Things everywhere cos I haven't had the time to pack.

15 Minutes @ LaSalle

The boy and I decided to head down to 15 Minutes at LaSalle to give it a try.

Verdict: Service was terrible, food was average, serving portion was small and expensive.
Definitely not going back there again.

The place looks classy and nice. But we waited for quite a long time before we were seated (there were actually empty seats). Terrible! You can come tell us to wait for a little while for them to set the tables like 3 times then why can't you use that extra 2 times to hurry up set the table.

The 15 minutes house salad in a jar. Nice idea to mix the salad but they didn't gave us plates/bowl to pour our salad out. So we had to poke our forks in to fish out our vegetables.

We paid $5.90 for pathetic 4 pieces of their so called 'special chicken wings' when it looks like just normal frozen chicken wings, fried and dribble on with some sweet sauce and sesame seeds. Like seriously.

The pizza was okay.

The chili beef con carne was so so.

Definitely not coming back again. Even the live band was bad. Sounded more of like 'noise' to music. Tsk tsk.

I met the boy for dinner at Ion's Aoba Ramen.

Hmm, the ramen taste very normal, I still prefer the one at Clarke Quay.

I bought this Japanese pancakes back. You can get them at one of the stalls at Ion's food market. They are yummy! They have like different kind of really cool fillings inside. NICE! Haha. Must eat them while they are hot.

Chinese New Year Day 2

What else can be more enjoyable than eating dim sum and Primas Revolving Tower with my family and watching lion dance right in front of you.

Woohoo!

Coincidentally, the lion dance troupe is managed by one of my cousin. The lion dance was really good, and they had this cute tiger going around disturbing and playing with the lions and acting cute. Haha. Oh, we managed to shook hands with the well-known chef of the restaurant too!

Simply can't resist the damn good dim sum at Primas Revolving Tower! Yummy!

I drove today!!! IN HEELS! LOL! :) I feel a sense of great achievement! Haha. Drove to Tampines by the way, to my cousin's new place.

Spend the day there, food was what I was enjoying, other than that, just snap snap pictures here and there. Yaps, basically that's how boring my Chinese New Year is. Who ask most of my relatives are not in Singapore. =(

Didn't took much photos. This year, reunion dinner with just my family.
We had yummy salmon yu sheng for starters. We added extra salmon!
After that we were actually quite full to start our actual meal, so we rested a little while before we had our yummy steam fish, chicken, roasted meat, and my favourite mushroom stew!! Woohoo!

Terrible terrible Week 2!

Week 2 was terrible terrible!

I woke up on Sunday feeling sick. Sore throat, blocked nose, running nose, cough, headache and in-grown toenail.

I was ultra tempted to not go back school on Sunday and head to the doctor on Monday. But I didn't wanna miss my tutorial and I had a meeting later in the day. I threw that thought away and dragged myself back to school. The bf was nice, he came to sayang me and he bought White mocha frap! I was super tempted to drink but boohoo! =(

Anyway, I thought I was gonna get better after a night's sleep. But wrong, terribly wrong. I got kinda worse. Both my nose was blocked whenever I attend lessons. Busy sniffing away, trying to breathe, busy using packets of tissue. Oh, it was terrible. Super uncomfortable, I wondered how I survived!

To make things worse, I had to do club's stuff. I stayed till 2am to do the proposal and I was practically dying. My voice became like those of a guy's - that's why the bf said. =( I was super close to breakdown.

Eating drowsy medicines, or any medication made me feel damn lethargic. I kept oversleeping cos of the medicine and causing me to miss my first few lessons. RAWR!

Thursday night I studied like hell for the clicker quiz on Friday. But when I woke up and look at the time, I realized the lecture was nearly over. Super duper disappointed with myself. =(

But somehow, I managed to survive the week! Woohoo! Although I'm not fully recovered, but I feel much better now. Nose is still a little screwed. But much much better than last week.

Bf and I are getting an Oakley Radar Path each!! Our 21st birthday present to each other! WOOHOO! =D

Okie, I'm heading back to my books. Till then.

(Anyway, I think my entry is a little not properly linked. My thoughts are random and I have a headache.) Whatever. Haha!

Week 1.

It's only week 1 and I'm stress already.

I've been studying every day, revising my lectures notes and paying attention in class.

The day before, I finished revising all my lecture notes for the week. Yesterday I completed all my tutorials for next week and also completed my readings on the smaller text book. Left with 3 chapters to read on the thick thick text book and a case study. =( That text book is freaking thick, it's like pages after pages of wall of text. OMG! I'm so gonna die reading that. Imagine every week gotta read so many chapters. It's required reading. Sigh, what to do.

Thursday night, Aik Kun and Eelin came over to my room to stay over. We had quite a bit of fun. I shared the bed with Aik Kun and she laughed at me early in the morning. Bleahz!

Now I'm feeling sick, sore throat, blocked nose, headaches and ulcers. RAWR! And my in-grown toenail is hurting! TSK!

It's the end of the holidays. BOOOHOO!!!! =(

I'm heading back to hall later tonight. I don't wanna go back, I don't want school to start. Sians.

The whole holidays, I have been sleeping late and waking up late. I hope when school starts I can wake up on time for lessons! Anyone wants to be give me morning call? LOL.

I've been spending the last few days busy packing my stuff to be brought back to hall, making my timetable, printing out my notes.

The printing of notes was horrible! So many, so messy. My stupid printer doesn't do auto flipping to print double sided. All manually done. Lucky my sister decided to be nice and help me.

My timetable for the semester. It may look quite slack but I still have a whole module done through e-learning and also this project module done during the holidays. Recess week gone! RAWR! 22 AUs for this semester.

I better be a good girl and study like mad. I'm aiming to reach a 4.0!

You guys will miss me for awhile again I guess. I'll be too busy studying till I don't have time for myself. Maybe a few updates once in awhile? But no pictures I guess. I won't have the time to edit pictures. All right. Good luck and have fun studying. =/

2009 has been quite a year. I'm kinda lazy to do a summary or create new resolutions for 2010.

But let's just hope that 2010 will be a better year for everyone and me! Heh.

Oh ya, results were out yesterday. I would say it's okie but I'm not satisfied with myself. RAWR! I'm aiming for at least a 4.0 but I only got 3.78. Oh well, the only comforting I can say is that I've got no Cs! I knew logic design was gonna pull me down. And they plus, minus thingy is quite irritating. Makes a hell lot of difference. Tsk! Oh well, next semester I'm so gonna pull it back up!

Okay, happier note. We played with firecrackers today and took pictures! Weee!

Birthday Surprise for the boy!

Muahaha! I'm feeling so proud of myself because the birthday surprise I planned for my boy worked and is successful! Woohoo! (Other than getting chased out at Balacalv because we were under-aged, when we already made reservations there.)

Anyway, a few days backed, I texted a representative from two different group of his friends to help me coordinate this surprise. People settled!

I went looking around the websites for a good place to chill and to celebrate and asked around for recommendations. Initially wanted Timbre, but all were fully booked! So I decided to chose Balacalv and made reservations there. Venue settled!

The day before, I coordinate the two different group of his friends to meet up together and to help me get the birthday cake from Rive Gauche.

The night before, I told the boy that I'll just be going to his place to celebrate, eating chicken rice or fish bee hoon. He believed.

The day itself, I told him to have light lunch and wait for me to come. So, I got prepared, and waited till around 3 plus before I headed over to his place without telling him. When he opened his door, he got a shocked because I wasn't dressed casually, so obviously, we are going somewhere to eat.

He got prepared, and we headed out to Suntec City, without me telling him anything. He just followed. I brought him to his favourite restaurant. Ichiban Boshi, had dinner there.

After dinner, I brought him over to the surprise. Indeed, he was totally shock to see two different group of his friends sitting there waiting for him. LOL! I missed the chance to take a picture of his ultra shocked face!

Anyway, we got chased out because they came to check a few of our friends' IC and told us we have to be 25. AHH!!! We changed location to CHIJMES Hog's Breath Cafe.

By the time he reached there, he was still in total shockness and he said he smiled till his mouth went numb. Haha.

I'm super happy that my boyfriend didn't suspect anything and is super happy and shocked about the celebration. I'm happy that he's happy and he enjoyed his 21st. =) Woohoo! Keep this wonderful memories in your heart okie? Loves!

Finally get to meet up with loves again! Woohoo!

This time we decided to meet up for steamboat! We were supposed to meet at 4.30pm, but everyone except Aik Kun was late. Haha.

We headed to the Crystal Jade at Holland Village, steamboat and unlimited xiao long bao. Woohoo! Damn shiok, especially the xiao long bao! Woots. Craving for more! Their ma la soup base super lethal. Haha. My mouth felt like exploding once I tried it.

Lots of pictures of us, very little of food because I was busy eating. Muahaha! We camwhored a lot after we're done with food. Aik Kun and Ee Lin baked muffins and cupcakes for us!!! Woohoo!!! LOVES!!!

Finally had the chance to eat Boon Tong Kee! Each time we pass by there, the queue is so long that we didn't want to try. This time we headed over, we waited for like 15 - 20mins before we had a table.

The chicken rice was yummy, so was the double boiled soup. Love the soup the most! Heh! The chicken was so so only.

The bf and I decided to head down to Timbre@Old School for dinner and some chilling out!

That ultra long long long stairs leading to Old School was horrible!

Initially we asked Aik Kun, Ee Lin and Chong Kiat along, but all of them didn't turn up. Boo! =(

Anyway, we didn't really like the singers, the music they played and sing weren't really that good. So we just enjoyed our thin crust pizza, buffalo wings, calamari rings and Erdinger!

Finally a chance to head out to Orchard to snap snap photos of Christmas lightings.

We found a nice rooftop to just enjoy the scenery and breeze again! =D

Woohoo! I'm back!!!

I'm so sorry that you guys had to wait sooooo long for my updates. But here I am! I never break my promise! =D A brief summary of what happened for the past 3 months in this entry. I'll be updating previous entries with photos, so check them out below this post. I'll make an update here to make things easier for you guys.

Uni life is tough tough tough! I was already mentally prepared that it was gonna be tough. But it turned out even tougher. =( It's like I'm constantly studying and studying, yet it's never enough. I'm practically studying everyday of the week. I feel like I'm a super no-lifer. The reason why I didn't had time to update my blog. Boo!

Let's continue from where I left off.

Hall camp, wasn't as fun as SCE/MSE camp. My room in hall is quite pretty and new since they just renovated it. There's an air-con unit in the room! But I can't use it yet. Tsk! I always go back home on Fridays after school and back to hall on Sunday night. The feeling is kinda sucky. Somehow, I don't feel as comfortable in hall as compared to home. The bed is harder than my own bed which makes it uncomfortable. I have to carry all my stuff to the toilet to bathe, lucky the toilet is close to my room. Sometimes it gets super hot in the room, but there's only fan. I even bought in an extra fan, but not strong enough. If it's not for the distance, I guess I would rather stay home. Bleahz.

I did not join any hall activities because I feel that if I do, I won't have enough time to study. I wanted to join hall softball team but training's twice a week. =/ So yeap, I'm some anti-social freak in hall. Haha.

Lessons are kinda scary. The profs don't bother if you understand their lecture a not, they just zoom pass everything. And most of the profs are from Cheena. Which makes it even harder to understand! ARGH! Lucky there's video lectures. And at least I can watch the video lectures if I overslept and miss my lectures. =/ Tutorial classes are fine but lab sessions are kinda sucky. It's not like previously in poly, lecturers will first give a brief introduction before you begin your lab. In uni, it's like just throw you there to do. And the worse thing is, my group, FGT1. There's only 7 of us and I'm the only girl there. =( And the rest are all weirdos. Totally weirdos! So I don't really enjoy my tutorial/lab sessions. I guess I'll be switching over my group to the one same as my friends. Oh yes! My course, the guys vs girls population is totally 9:1. In my clique, I'm like always the only girl there. I feel damn sad la. I wanna go toilet during lessons, cannot ask if anyone wanna go accompany me and stuff. Boo! =( And when guys are together, they have guys talk, then I will feel so weird listening to them. Yux! Haha.

I totally miss my poly life. The carefree life, the crappy stuff we do together but yet, still studying hard. Sigh. And I totally totally miss having girls' company during lessons. But lucky for me, I have 2 very very good buddies. Without them, I guess I wouldn't be able to survive uni life. My dearest 'daughters' Aik kun and eelin. My lunch and dinner, listening ear, crapping and study, partners! Without them, I guess my life in uni will be like shit. No matter how bad my day in school is, I'm always super excited to meet them and update each other. And we'll just cheer each other up with our super crappy and lame jokes. At times, laugh till I get stomach aches and cry. The thing is, we only met each other during camp. We have only known each other for a few months, but somehow, they feel like my long lost friends. And why I call them daughters because I'm the oldest among them and I always have to 'look after them'. I totally totally love them and thankful to have met them! Not forgetting, Chong kiat, although I always bully him till there's no tomorrow, but I'm thankful to have known him because he's great at giving advices! He got potential to become one of my 'guy bestie'. LOL.

Oh, I told myself that I will join a sports CCA in uni. Unfortunately, I'm back to being in a club again. LOL! I'm in my School Club as an Events Director. So here I am, I'll be organizing events and stuff again. Plan to change, failed! Haha. I guess I'm just fated to be organizing stuff. Interview for the post was quite scary. And I had to wait for god knows how many hours siting on the floor outside the room in cold chilly wind for my turn for the interview!

The boyfriend and I have been doing well. He just came back not long from Australia. And I'm glad we survived 28 days away from each other. :)

Exams in uni is horrible!!! No matter how much I study, it's never enough! The paper is totally out to demoralize people. And you can never finish your paper on time. I never felt so hardworking before. I studied like non-stop for 3 whole weeks! At times, I really felt like giving up because I was just so tired of studying and yet I still feel like I don't know a lot of things. And yes, I broke down just before my 3rd paper because I was super scared that what if I don't do well for everything and I had to repeat my modules. Oh well, exams are over for now, I don't wanna think about it till exam results are out. Let me enjoy my 5 weeks before I have to start the struggle all over again for the next sem.

Yes, so basically that's what happened. In conclusion, I miss poly life! I miss my carefree life! I've 6 more sem to go. =/

Post Exams Celebration with Loves!

Aik kun, Eelin, Chong Kiat and I decided to meet up for a simple dinner as a post exams celebration (even though eelin has yet to finish hers =X) Finally I get to see them and spend time with them after 1 whole month of chionging for exams.

We had Zhi Char at some place in Toa Payoh. The dishes they have there are unique, but super yummy! And and super cheap too! I wanna go back there for more of it! Yummlicious! *Licks*

I made Shepherd's Pie for them as well as my mini little surprise for them. =) I'm glad they liked it.

From top to bottom, left to right: Strawberry Chicken! Strawberry yogurt sauce all over fried chicken pieces. At first it tasted very unique and weird cos you will never imagine how these two would match, but it's nice!! Cai poh Tofu, the toufu is like super smooth and silky, the cai poh also not very salty. Yummy! Honey dew prawns, prawns in honey dew sauce, sweet and sour crunchy prawns. Loves! Kailan and Sweet and sour Pork ribs. The food is yummy yummy yummy! Haha.

As a post-exams celebration, we decided to head out for dinner. It feels damn weird to be out shopping with a whole group of guys.

Lucky there was Sok Ee, we decided to do our own girls shopping after awhile.

Food at the Hong Kong Cafe was horrible. OMG! I rather Xin Wang anytime!

Here are some pictures of my 21st Birthday Present.

Sims 3 is love! Although I doubt I'll have time for it till holidays.

Big stitchies! One's in hall, the other at home. How Todaro got my Stitches it's a damn touching and sweet story! LOL.

Aikun and Eelin knew I love Stitch so they suggested getting me one of those big stitch they saw at Action City. But when they went to check out the price, they found out it was wayyyy out of their budget. Then somehow, Wayne knew about it and he decided to went to Marina Bay to catch! He had to catch 5 small stitches in exchange for a big stitch! OMG! So in total, he caught 10 small stitches to get 2 big stitches! When he was about to head back to hall with 2 big stitches, it decided to rain. But instead of keeping himself dry, he kept Stitches dry! Eelin was tasked to get wrapping paper for the Stitches, she thought it was 2 small ones, so she got 2 normal size wrapping paper. But when she saw how huge the Stitches was, she got a shock and realized the wrapping paper wasn't enough, so it turned out to be Stitches' cape and bracelet! Like OMG! So sweet and touching right. Awww. I love them to bits! The 2 beloved Stitches!

On this very day, I celebrated my 21st Birthday with a simple party at NSRCC with lots of friends and love. =D

I agreed it was very tiring. From the preparation to the entertaining and taking of photos. Very tired at the end of the day but I feel very loved.

I had a great great great day today, reason being I went to SCE DND with my loves! Haha. Took lots of photos, food was all right, performance was all right. Our pageants representatives did great, company was awesome! Woohoo!

The drive back home was horrible though. It was raining soooo heavily that it was flooded and I couldn't see. I had to on the hazard lights to drive and I was driving so slowly, cold sweat while driving. OMG! I couldn't even see the lane markings or the cars in front of me. I only had the lights to guide me. Bleahz.

After coming back from hall camp early this morning, I headed to sleep like a pig before I prepared and met the rest to head for Weixin's Birthday BBQ. Super tired but how can I miss her birthday gathering!

Via Ferrata at Orchard Central

To celebrate Weixin's birthday, we decided to head to the Via Ferrata at Orchard Central to have some fun. Initially I thought it was very easy to complete. Seriously, it looks very easy. But when you tired it, you'll say otherwise! Fun, tiring and bruised, but a great experience.

This is how the wall looks like. It looks like any normal rock climbing wall right? But on a closer look, it has these bars that resemble ladder. The aim is to reach the top of the wall in groups.

There's no belayer, belaying below. All you have are your own lobster clippers which are hooked onto the wires along the wall. Those are the things that will support you if you fall off. And you got to constantly remove and hook them onto the new sets of wires.

There's also a carabenna where you can hook onto these metal bars so you can lean back and rest. But the thing is, I don't feel safe doing that. So I don't dare to just lean back without my hands holding onto the bar.

Oh yes, There's also this set of ropes which you got to hook onto these pig tails on the way. Just something to add so that we'll stay in a group.

Apparently, I got scared when I look down from that platform while we were resting halfway up there. It's wayyyyyy high up. I just stick myself next to the wall and didn't dare to move an inch. And lots of people starred at us while we were climbing. There's this part of the wall that's very close to this restaurant. It was around dinner time where we passed there, the smell of the food was rather distracting.

Being short has a disadvantage too! My legs couldn't stretch to reach one part of the wall where there were very little places for me to step on and the bars were super far apart that I couldn't reach. I had to had my instructor to help me up there. =/

I think I totally worked out a lot! Halfway up, I was already sweating and aching like mad. Three quarters up the wall, I felt like dying because the distance between the bars keep getting bigger and bigger. I had to keep resting to gain energy to stretch every bit of energy I had to finally reach the top. When I looked up from the top, my legs went jelly.

Lucky it was the end of it. And no, we didn't had to climb all the way down. We only climb a short ladder where we reached the carpark and we took the lift down! LOL.

All of our arms, red, and scratched because we had to grab the metal bars with our arms. Look at the big black bruise on my arm! Scary? LOL. When I went back home, I realized I had more than 1 big black bruise! Haha. So much for having fun.

We initially wanted to head to Kuishin Bo for dinner. But we were running late, so we headed to Cinieleisure BillyBomber's for dinner.

Outing with a few of Todaro girls today! =D

I was quite a piggy. I overslept! Oh no! I only woke up when Ee lin msg-ed me which was the time when we were supposed to meet. Lucky for the both of us, we were late. Haha. =x

We then headed to meet Aik Kun and Angeline before we walked around a little then head to Ah Chew Dessert for desserts! Duh! Haha.

We spend quite awhile there talking and playing games on my iPod Touch. You should go to Facebook and watch the video. Ultra cute, ultra funny.

We then head to the arcade later to play a few games, we actually topped one of this machine where we threw plastic balls at the screen to hit objects. Guess what, we put our name as Todaro and we were all shocked to see that we were the first. Muahaha!

Dinner was at Shokudo. Then later home sweet home. No camera with me, so no photos! =x

I had a great time with them! I hope we'll still spend time with each other once school starts! You all gotta come my hall and find me!!!

And yes, we received bad news. Aik Kun's friend couldn't pull her over to Hall 11. So now, not a single chance of her becoming my roomie. I'm ultra duper super sad. =( Sighhhhh.

I hope when I head down to the shop on 1st Aug, stocks are up and I can get it immediately. I wanna settle all the stuff before I head for hall camp. School's starting soon and there isn't much time left! Oh no!!!

Driving with an experienced driver = stress!

My family decided to head out to Bugis Junction today and I had to be the driver since my dad doesn't want to drive. I'm injured and they make me drive! Boo! Haha.

Yea, so lunch was at some Shanghai Restaurant food. Food wasn't that fantastic but still nice. We then headed to get my contact lens before we did some shopping at Bugis Junction.

Desserts and Ah Chew dessert stall again. Then I drove back home.

Rested for a bit before I drove out to Changi Village for dinner with my family. The carpark there very messy leh. Tsk! Dinner there wasn't as shiok as Chomp Chomp. I still wanna go back Chomp Chomp for more food!!!

I then drove back home again. Poor little injured girl gotta drive and get all the unreasonable scoldings from my dad. =( Even my mum and sister were laughing at him.

Roller blade!

Todaro met up for the second outing today! :)

We were supposed to meet at East Coast Park Macdonalds at 12pm but everybody else ended up late! Like 1 hour plus loh! Anyway, Mark was nice, he gave me, Eugene and Ee Lin a lift from Newton. But someone overslept. LOL!

I decided to be brave and adventurous and try out roller blading. I was already dripping sweat even before I made my first move. RAWR!

Roller blading was bad bad bad! I kept falling and falling like no one's business. =( But thanks to Mark, Jie Hao, Ee Lin, Zhi Yuan and Eugene and a few others who helped me up when I fall. I can officially say I know how to blade le! Woohoo!

I can say we had a great time together, but very very tiring. 3 hours of blading and falling. At one point of time, I nearly wanted to take out my blades and just walk back. Haha. I couldn't remember how many zillion times I fell but I remembered I always end up in weird positions. Like a big wide split right in front of Ee lin. A superman fall right down on the floor and I didn't even realized I was injured till I saw blood. Then I was wondering and looking around looking for my wounds. Haha. A fall into the grass patch. All the falls didn't brought pain but laughter to myself. Haha.

Dinner was at some Hong Kong Cafe there. Food wasn't that nice, the company mattered. We then walked to Parkway Parade for a few games of pool before we all headed home.

Home sweet home now with a big fat bruise on my left knee, sprained right knee, wound on left elbow and right baby finger, aching calves from the tight blades. Aching arms. And of course, a new tan! Yay! I wanna tan more more more!!!

No photos from me because I was busy trying to concentrate on my blades and my balancing skills and I was also super tired at the end of the day to dig out my camera for photos.

1.5hours vs 5mins

I've decided to not be a lazy girl and head to school today to redo my urine test.

1.5 hours of loner journey, blasting music into my ears, trying to catch some sleep. I was lucky there were space to sit.

And so my journey back to school, I was trying very hard to concentrate and remember which stop was it to drop. Haha. And yay! I got it right, I'm not that country pumpkin after all.

Climbed that steep 'hill' up to the clinic, I was still panting and sweaty by the time I reach there. In the end, I didn't have to wait at all, I headed straight for the urine test. And there I was done in 5 minutes!

So yap, I spend 1.5 hours traveling and just 5 mins to get everything done. RAWR! I headed over to Orchard to meet the bf. While waiting, I applied for my Ez-link card already. Yay! I can't wait to collect it so I can switch over to Student Plan and spam sms-es and calls! Muahaha!

Bf and I decided to head to Ion to check it out. I tell you, I'm so loving Ion!!! Haha. It's a really nice place with lots of shops. Springfield's my current addiction, I spent money on 2 bottoms that were on sales, super worth it!

Anyway, dinner was at The Soup Spoon. Ultra shiokness when it comes to souppppp~ Tried the Clam Chowder, thick creamy and filled with ingredients! Yum! Baby's peppery chicken thingy was nice too, he loved it but I think it got a tad spicy after drinking too much. But he was pouting when it came to an end. Haha! I feel healthy and SUPER full! I couldn't even finish my Roast Duck half wrap that was filled with lots and lots of veg!

Home sweet home with boyfie helping me to put my new tera into my love. Muahaha! WOOHOOO!

Hall's Posting Results.

Hall's Posting Results is out!!! And I'm utterly disappointed can!

I wanted to get Hall 2 because of the toilets and it's near school. But but but noooo!!! I didn't, I got Hall 11 instead. And guess where in the world is Hall 11? It's located right next to Jalan Bahar exit at NTU! You know how freaking far is that from school!!!!! :( :( :( :( :(

It's not walkable to school, I confirm need to take shuttle bus or public bus to school liao. Imagine how packed that will be! ARGH! The only good thing I can think of is that it's near the exit of NTU so I can get out of NTU fast. And the exit there is the road that leads to bf's camp.

That's not the worst part. The worst part is that all the other Todaro girls are like at the other 'sector'. Which is still very far away from me! =( Oh man!!! You all eat dinner, come my hall find me hor, go back hall late at night must walk me back to my ulu ulu hall first okay. Pouts! Seriously upset!

Someone suggested that I should just cycle to school everyday. Haha. Seriously, I think I should consider it.

Now now, Aik Kun is trying to get her friend to pull her over to Hall 11 and if possible be roomie with me. I'm hoping it will work. Even if not the same room never mind. Just pull her over to Hall 11 can already. Of course if she's my roomie it'll be double happiness. I don't want to get some random roomie. =( Cross fingers, prays hard!

Todaro's First Outing!!!

I'm such a busy woman today. I headed over to bf's place to spend time with him. Then later, I headed out to have my very first outing with Todaro.

Bf's was being nice, he accompanied me to leave house earlier and took a bus to Novena before he took a train back to Toa Payoh to buy food for his camp mates and cabbed back. Thanks sweetie! =)

Anyway, serious miscommunication! We were supposed to meet at City Hall MRT but everybody ended everywhere else. We were supposed to eat at The Soup Spoon but somehow people said the name of the place wrongly, so it ended up becoming Soup Restaurant. Reservations were already made! LOL. In the end it was canceled and we headed over to Aston's for dinner.

2 super long table, super noisy bunch of people, zillion orders. I think the people surrounding us were pissed, the chefs were super busy, the waiters/waitress were super confused and irritated! But we had fun though. Ops! Haha.

After dinner, we headed to play pool at Marina Square. After a game, everyone decided to chiong for last train. I wondered who was the person who said we were really late and we ended up having to run to the MRT station. Super unglam! The second time running across City Link with the same group of people la!

Anyway, I was having a hard time, my shorts were dropping while I was running and I weren't in the proper footwear. Imagine how no image I was. Argh!

In the end, we didn't even had to board the last train, but we were sweating and panting like mad.

SCE/MSE FOC 09/10!!!

I'm back from SCE/MSE FOC 09/10!!! Woohoo!!!

Overall feelings of the camp:
- Planning and organization quite sucky.
- Food was horrible.
- Accommodation was terrible.
- SP thingy quite roll eyes.
- Games were fun but ultra tiring.
- GLs, SAs, ancestors were GREAT!
- The people in Todaro is LOVE!

It wasn't really the camp that I enjoyed, it was more of the people that I met that made me enjoyed the camp. =) We started out as strangers, total quietness, then because of what hit us we ended up as an ultra bonded noisy bunch of crazy peeps.

13 girls into one small room. How pro can we get. 13 girls queuing up to bathe in 1 toilet. The boy girl boy girl thingy that we always hated. How I always don't look forward to meal times because the food was bad bad! I couldn't even finish half a packet. The new tan that I got from the camp. Woohoo! =) The gossiping girls in the room at night. The learning of mass dance under the hot sun which we did not perform in the end. The meeting of the SP. My first ever visit to a club. The best ever skit performed by us. The stupid jokes and stuff from our GLs and SAs. The fake freshie thingy. The piak piak sound of our slippers when we run around for amazing race. Running from City Link to Singapore Flyers, running across MRT stations. Many many other stuff. It will be all kept in my heart. =)

But I wanna say, I love Todaro and I'm glad that I was part of Todaro.

Some pictures I took during my first ever clubbing night. I enjoyed the night with them totally! The guys were great at taking care of us girls. The seniors were really great at letting our hair down. And to the Todaro girls, you were all great dancing partners! =) I was totally shocked that I actually survived with my ultra high heels dancing around for don't how many hours! Haha. But by the end of the day, I was dead! I had problems walking and we all knocked out immediately.

Makan and catch up! :)

Larp brothes and Ezaline decided to come over to my place for a home cooked meal, Wii session and catch up session!

Ezaline and I whipped up some dishes for lunch. Had a great catch up session cum eating session.

After an hour of preparation, this is what came out. :)

Wii session was next. Damn funny with all the weird expressions and actions. The Larp brothers gets really quiet when they play. OMG! So scary! And my legs are still aching like mad! =( It better recover before I head for camp!

Later drove to pick up bf and head to meet his BMT mates for dinner/supper at Desker Road. OMG! That place was so messy, so many cars, roads so small, so hard to drive! Finding car park was hard too! =( Anyway, the dim sum place that Kai Zhen introduced was cheap and good! Yummy!

Transformers!

I had problems flipping and tossing around on bed so I spend my time sleeping like a stone not moving a single inch. Waking up this morning was terrible. My whole body was aching. I couldn't lift my hands to wear my clothes, sitting down on toilet bowl was horribly hard! Sitting down and getting up was painful. The worse, climbing up and down the stairs! Can cry!

Headed off to meet the bf, I made a super duper stupid wrong choice by wearing my new shoes. My feet were already injured by the time I met bf. Cuts on the heels, blisters on toes. =( Now I'm even more injured and in pain. =(

Had lunch before we headed over to The Cathay.

Finally, after so long, bf and I finally caught Transformers!

Woohoo! Other than they spend half the time filming Megan Fox running, it's a great show that I recommend! If you guys haven't watch, please go catch it okie?

I love the soundtracks too.

We then headed to Orchard Central. The place was like still empty but we managed to find this Japanese Restaurant, the food was terrible. OMG! We finally headed back home after a late dinner and much limping around.

Since Jennifer, Yi Xian, Ezaline, Larp brothers and myself are having our holidays now and we have all been sleeping at ungodly hours and not doing any exercise, we decided to meet up for a badminton session.

I met Ezaline and the Larp brothers at Junction 8's Ya Kun for breakfast before we all headed to Hougang to meet the rest.

I brought my camera but there were no pictures because I was such a toot, I forgot to put the battery in! RAWR! Haha.

Anyway, we headed over to play for 3 hours straight. I felt like I burned a zillion calories because I sweat till my whole shirt was soaking wet. LOL. Freaking tiring! After washing up, I realized my soles and toes were starting to hurt. Another in-grown toenail spotted, blisters on the soles from the friction. Pouts!

We then headed for some desserts before heading back home.

Great day, great work out session and great company. :) Yay! Plan next activity please! Haha. I want the sun!

Oh yes, I played Sims when I came back home. My Sims is a 4.0 pointer majoring in Psychology and she Woohoo with guys in hostel! TSK TSK! Haha.

Happy Anniversary boyfriend. 3 years 2 months le! Which also means, 11 more months to ORD! Woohoo!

Are you tired of this ma fan girlfriend yet? Haha. =p Love you!

Surprisingly, my dad let me use his car today. So I drove over to bf's place. Later drove him back to camp. It was raining heavily! =( Driving at night is hard, driving in the rain is also hard. When you put both of them together, it's even harder! LoL. Lucky I was familiar with the roads already, if not it will be worse. I was concentrating so hard to keep in lane because I couldn't see the markings! Haha. Oh well, after some getting used to it seems better. Everyone else was driving slower than usual anyway.

While driving back, my Group Leader called, I told her to call me later again because I was driving. So I came back home, waited for her call. In the end, it was a guy who called but had the same number. Anyway, my point is, my GL sounds cute! Muahaha! So exciting, FOC is a week away! I'm in this group called Todaro. Hopefully I have fun group mates and the camp will be great. I'm looking forward to FOC! Wee!
